WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS SERVICE

1. We will begin by checking the device to see what type of hard drive connection it has.
   
   1. If it contains the older standard, known as an IDE connection, this upgrade may not be possible.
      
2. Once the Techs confirm that the upgrade is possible, we will then proceed to physically switch out the old HDD with an SSD.
   
3. The Techs will then install a new version of Windows/MacOS onto the new hard drive, as the SSD will contain no data out of the box.
   
4. We will then download system updates.
   
5. After a few tests, to see if the computer is running at the most optimal performance, we will then download essential software for web surfing and regular computer usage.
   
6. The Techs will run a few more tests after this, to see if the performance did not change with the addition of these new programs.
   
7. We will then contact you once the device is 100% complete and ready. The old HDD will be given to you with the device.
   

If you will like us to transfer the data into the new SDD, please inform our Techs. Some additional fees may apply. If you would like to copy your current hard drive into the new one, please inform our Techs. Additional fees will be applied, and this may take a bit more time to complete.
